Avotone

avotone botox cream

Avotone - A Botox Alternative - Cream That Works

Many people are curious over the recent explosion of popular Botox creams – which are meant to be an alternative to Botox Cosmetic Injections.

Products like Avotone and Janson Beckett’s AlphaDerma CE – are quickly gaining popularity because of the fear of needles or the high cost of cosmetic injections.

Either way, these products are here to stay and are getting better all the time – as researchers strive to improve performance of Cosmeceuticals (cosmetic products that claim to have drug-like benefits) like Avotone, and capitalize on the million dollar cosmetic injection market.

How Does Avotone Work?

These topical creams are applied to specific problem areas to help flatten out crow’s feet around the eyes and smooth worry lines on the forehead and between the eyebrows.

But don't confuse these with a wrinkle filler gel. A wrinkle filler provides instant -but temporary - results, where Avotone takes time to work.

Most of these creams contain the similar essential ingredients – namely amino acid peptides. Which include Argireline a hexapeptide and Matrixyl pentapeptide.

Argireline

  • is often referred to as the “freeze” ingredient. It is said to work on the same muscles that Botox does.

The 2002 International Journal of Cosmetic Science stated that topical creams containing at least 10% the main ingredient argireline reduced wrinkle depth as much as 30% after only 30 days of treatment.

They also concluded that this peptide was a biosafe alternative to botulinum neurotoxins (cosmetic injections).

Matrixyl

  • is a very promising cosmeceutical ingredient. One of it’s first study results impressed the 20th World Congress of Dermatology in Paris in 1999.

Research results showed that 3% Matrixyl temporarily reduces the depth of wrinkles by over 60% in a six month trial period. They found that the longer the product was used, the better the results.

A Newer Improved Version of Avotone Creams

As said earlier, there is much research going in the field of cosmetic injection alternatives – so the products will only get better and more effective over time.

For example, does anyone remember when StiVectin-SD first came out? Some people call it (strivecton, strivecten). This was one of the first botox alternative creams on the market.

Although it only contained one peptide, it was a pretty impressive product at the time and had some research behind it.

However, ....................................

The newest “guy” on the block is Janson Beckett Alpha Derma CE This product was developed by expert Janson Beckett and looks pretty impressive, not only because it differs from all the other “typical” Botox creams on the market, but it has more clinically proven ingredients than the rest.

His product is the ONLY Botox alternative formula with (8) eight clinically proven active ingredients. And these include other peptides that others don’t have……yet.

In addition, while all the others are only to be used on specific sites like crows feet and forehead lines, AlphaDerma CE can be used on the whole face and neck.

Here is run down of the ingredients........................

    10% Argireline

  • Argireline blocks the nerve signals that control the contraction of facial muscles. This produces a significant reduction in both the depth and size of fine lines and folds.
  • PentaPeptide (Leuphasyl)

  • An amino acid that helps to lessen and relax muscle contraction. Impairing muscle contraction is what makes the complexion look less wrinkled.
  • HeptaPeptide (Snap-7)

  • Another natural amino acid that contains seven amino peptides. It prevents neurons from transmitting signals that cause muscles to contract. When repetitive movements are impaired, the formation of fine lines are prevented.
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid

  • Alpha Lipoic Acid is an advanced antioxidant that helps fight free radicals- one of the major causes of aging. Some researchers claim it is an antioxidant 400 times more potent than Vitamin C & E.

Beyond anti-free radical action, it repairs an aged complexion, contributing to a healthy looking, glowing complexion.

  • Vitamin C Ester

  • Vitamin C Ester (ascorbyl palmitate) boosts protective antioxidant action and helps repair past damage by aiding new collagen production.
  • DMAE

  • Dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE), often called “facelift in a jar” by some specialists, helps firm and tighten the dermis. With regular use DMAE can provide a more defined, youthful appearance.
Other ingredients include: collagen, elastin, soy, and UV-A and UV-B [SPF15].

Avotone & Botox - One Caveat

Keep in mind that the results from botox creams like Avotone and other alternatives are only temporary. They don’t actually fix or rejuvenate cells – although many of the newer ones like Janson Beckett’s AlphaDerma CE, do contain anti-aging, antioxidant ingredients.

While this can help prevent further damage as a result of aging – it’s still important to consider skin remodeling techniques…….to not only stop or slow the aging process, but help the dermis heal itself.

Rejuvenating or remodeling techniques include daily use of peptides or retinol products to help stimulate collagen production.

And most important -- weekly use of the and face exercises.

This simple 15 exercise routine helps to continually stimulate your body’s natural collagen production and lift sagging muscles which also contribute to an "aged look."
