best homemade beauty remedies

My favorite and best homemade beauty remedies involves honey, green tea, and brown sugar.
Mix a tablespoon of honey with a few drops of green tea. Then right before you're ready to use it, mix in a teaspoon or so of granulated brown sugar.
Rub this mixture all over your face and neck and let it sit for 10 min. Then massage well before rinsing off with a wash cloth. Your skin will feel soft and smooth as a babies bottom.
My grandmother used honey on her face all her life and she had the most beautiful skin, even in her 90s.
Thanks

Thanks so much Joanne. That's a great tip.
I have several skin recipes on my
Homemade Facials page that include honey.... I love it too.
There are a ton of great skin care remedies you can make in your own kitchen for what ever problems you may have from dry skin,to acne, and dull bumpy skin. Just plain old sugar makes a great body scrub.
I keep a big plastic container full of sugar in my shower and scrub/exfoliate my whole body from head to toe! It feels great.
Pineapple is a also a great exfoliator because it helps digest dead protein (dead skin cells) and leaves your skin super soft.

best anti aging products for glowing skin

I want my skin to Look more beautiful and lighter, since I have a fair complexion. Could you please advise some simple steps. Thank you very much.
Hi Julie,
A great and easy way to get clear, luminous skin is to follow a simple 3 step process that includes:
1. A good pH balanced cleanser. You want to clean the skin well, but not over dry it. Stay away from chemical laden face cleansers!
2. Exfoliate dead skin cells and clean out your pores with a fruit-based acid serum. This will give your complexion a beautiful, clear glowing look. After a few times of using this, my skin is more dewy....even in the dry winter months.
Fruit acids are gentle but help to eat and dissolve dead skin cells that makes your skin look dull and tired.
3. And, finally a good moisturizer that hydrates and plumps up the skin.
I love this simple 3 step system. You can read more about it here...How to Get Flawless Skin
I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any more questions.
