Makeup for Aging, Sensitive, Acne Prone Skin with Sun Damage

I am 47 y.o. with sensitive, acne prone skin with dark sun spots. Is there a healthy makeup that provides coverage without causing breakouts and looking like paste at a reasonable price?

I recently purchased this mineral makeup foundation from a RoyaleUsa kiosk, the lady had given me a demonstration, she used the foundation on me.

She had put lotion on before the foundation. The lady claimed that the makeup would not rub off on my clothes, and it didn't.

So I bought the makeup, now when I put it on at home, it rubs off. Could it have been the lotion that she had used that helped it stay on?

Thanks for your email. You know I believe I've heard that before from a friend of mine.

She bought this makeup at the mall and when they tried it on her, they used a lotion first- she thought it was just a standard moisturizer.

And then the next day when she tried the makeup at home - using her moisturizer as a base, it didn't stay on very long at all.

Try it without a moisturizer and see if it stays on longer...

However, I don't like to do that because my makeup looks better when I apply a moisturizer first. But at least you'll know.

Sometimes a long lasting makeup does not react well with oil based moisturizers....

Best Makup for Oily Skin

What is the best makeup for oily skin? I've tried all kinds and either they don't cover well, cause breakouts or melt off before the end of the day.
