Dermatologists and Clinics use needle lengths ranging from 0.25 mm to 3.0 mm. But for home use skin needling sizes range from the 0.5mm - 2mm.

The appropriate needle length depends on your skin needs:

• 0.5mm - For light acne scarring, mild chicken pox scars or ice pick scars, or simply regular anti ageing treatments
• 1.0mm - For deep acne scarring, surgery scars, ice pick or chicken pox scars
• 1.5mm - is the maximum size recommend for use on the face (unless as part of a professional treatment), but your body is less sensitive to treatment, so you should decide which would best suit your needs. This size can be used for deep stretch marks and cellulite.
