Scientia Derma Roller Reviews/Results- My Experience: It’s been almost 2 years since I first starting using my skin roller and I want to share my experience with everyone.........Here are my results.........
The Studies
Study results by plastic surgeons and dermatologists found that in addition to reducing the appearance of sun damage and wrinkles - such as crow's feet - skin needling can help reduce stretch marks, cellulite, acne scars, surgical scars and smooth out pitted and dimpling skin.
Dr. Philippe Simonin, a Swiss Dermatologist, performed a study on 600 people divided into two groups -- the skin aging group and the scar reduction group. Published results found that there was a 40% significant improvement in skin aging and an impressive 60% improvement in scar reduction group. And this was only after 5 to 6 treatments!
Another doctor, Dr. Andre Camirand, a plastic surgeon from Canada, found that skin needling improved the texture and depression of scars and also improved over-all skin color and texture. The best part is this remodeling process can go on up to 12 months from each treatment.
How Does It Work?
It performs collagen induction therapy. How? The skin roller needles puts little tiny punctures in the upper layer of the dermis causing a wound healing process to begin which in turn helps to stimulate collage and elastin production - building healthy skin cells, filling in depressed scars, and deep lines.
In addition, it allows maximum absorption of your best wrinkle creams or any anti aging creams. Each rolling session stimulate collagen to reduce wrinkles and scars - like a mini-instant face lift. Even the best anti aging creams alone can't come close to the benefits of the roller.
Other Benefits of the Scientia Derma Roller are:
Helps to stimulate blood flow to the skin
Opens clogged pores
Exfoliates dead skin cells
Removes old collagen and stimulates new collagen growth
Can be used anytime in your own home at your convenience for just pennies each time
is not painful just a slight tickling sensation
The Scientia roller is made up of medical grade stainless steel micropoints
Is very cost effective. A full face medical needling session can cost up to $600.00 to $1,000
This concept of skin needling is scientifically proven and based on thousands of years of acupuncture technology
Does not cause skin damage
The Scientia Roller can be used on all areas including face, neck, body, for stretch marks and scars and on the scalp for hair loss
What's My Favorite Roller?
Skin needling at home is easy if you have the right roller. The one I use is manufactured in a quality controlled environment in accordance with ISO/CE/FDA standards. In addition I feel safe using this roller because the needles are gamma sterilized according to ISO 11137......... And it is an authentic collagen induction therapy (CIT) Skin roller - (registered trademark #2517051).
Where To Buy Derma Roller

I live in the U.S. and have ordered several rollers over the last few years without any problems. Delivery is super fast and the customer service representative (Lisa) is great!
If you're interested in purchasing the original Skin Roller you can do so here.
Right now they are running a special sale - purchase two rollers at a discount price, and get a free vitamin enriched cream (to be used right after you roll so your skin really soaks it the nutrients). However, with the cream there is small shipping fee for the cream.
Dermatologists and Clinics use needle lengths ranging from 0.25 mm to 3.0 mm. But for home use skin needling sizes range from the 0.5mm - 2mm.
The appropriate needle length depends on your skin needs:
0.5mm - For fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and hair loss
1.0mm - 1.5 mm - For deep wrinkles, acne/surgical/chicken pox scars, hyperpigmentation, sagging skin, stretch marks, and cellulite
2.0mm - For very damaged, wrinkled skin or very deep scars.
NOTE: This needle length should only be administered by a skin care professional.
I suggest most people start off with the 05.mm and then once the skin gets firmer and thicker, you can move up to the 1.0mm.
Don't settle for cheap imitations. I've seen cheaper versions sold on the internet, but I'd be afraid to use them. Some have jagged edges or improper needle lengths. Don't take chances with your skin!!
Scientia Derma Roller Care
After each skin rolling session always apply an effective anti-aging cream. One of the other benefits of skin needling is it's ability to enable deeper penetration and absorption of topical products. Also, make sure to rinse the roller well under hot water then dip it into a glass of rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to disinfect it.
