how to get rid of sun damaged cheeks

how do you get rid of sun damaged cheeks

Hello,

Thanks for your email. To get rid of aging, sun damaged skin anywhere on your face there are a few things you can do:

1. Slowly eliminate/exfoliate the old, damaged skin.

2. Build collagen and elastin so the new skin cells that form are healthier and stronger.

For step 1 - a good exfoliating product should help to slough off the dead, damaged, old skin cells using natural fruit acids like glycolic and salicylic acid.

Read about an intensive renew facial.

This is my favorite facial to use once a month or so to help remove old dead cells, sun spots, rough patches and even encourage collagen.

The premise on this technique called increased cell turnover which helps the body increase collagen production).

For Step 2 - Building collagen, there are a few ways to do this:

A. Copper peptide creams - You can read more about it here...Copper Peptides.

Or......

B. Matrixyl Peptides - This one has gotten fabulous results with many women. Click here to read more Matrixyl.

You combine these technique for a great anti-aging tool.

I hope this information has helped.

Thanks,
Linda

how to have beautiul skin. Should I try skin eraser kit?

I'm thinking about trying the skin eraser kit. Will it work for a blotchy skin? I got some small red blotches and bumps from old pimples that I popped years ago. I can't believe they didn't go away. I also have what looks like brown spots or freckles.

Anyway, I just want my skin to look a little more even. I'm tried of caking on the makeup, especially in the summer time because it melts away and you can see all blotches. I just want to have even beautiful skin.

Also, I'm not very fair skinned, will this be a problem? My doctor told me that I'm not a good candidate for chemical peel because I'm not fair and there could be problems with pigmentation.

Oh and can you tell me how many treatments are in each kit? I want to make sure there are at least one month of treatments.

Hi and thanks for your question regarding skin discoloration. The Skin Eraser kit is excellent for uneven skin tone or bumpy blotchy skin and light scars.

Unlike a professional chemical peel this kit won't damage the skin or require down time for healing... so it works great for all skin tones - even very dark skin. In fact, most people see visible results after the first treatment.

I use the skin eraser kit for anti-aging purposes too because it helps to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles.

The natural exfoliation process and the fruit acids help to encourage cell turnover which stimulates elastin and collagen production and brings newer healthier cells to the skin's surface. This is one reason why people see results after the first treatment.

Each kit offers around 20 - 25 treatments but it lasts a long time because it's so potent - you only use it about 3 times a month.

And after only about 8 treatments, you'll notice that you skin has a more even tone and you won't need to use as much makeup to cover it up.

What I like to do use a sunless face tanner after a treatment because it really exfoliates dead skin cells so the tanner product works better and the nice glow I get from the tanner eliminates the need for a foundation cover-up. This is great in the summer time because I know - like you said - makeup tends to melt off from the heat.

Plus, my skin gets healthier because I'm not using all of that pore clogging makeup. It's a real win-win!

One warning however, make sure to always use a good sunscreen on your face. This will help ensure your skin tone stays even and smooth looking.

Good luck.

how to get beautiful skin for cheap

by Barbara

Hi,

I don't have a lot of money or a lot of time. I want to find a simple routine to improve my skin. Do you have any ideas or tips. My skin just looks dull and a little dry.

Hi Barbara,

Thanks for your email. I too hate to spend a lot of time and money on products too. Plus, I really do believe that the simple way is best for our skin.

But there is 3 things that everyone needs to do to keep their complexion smooth....wash it, polish it, and hydrate it.

The washing and hydrating part sounds simple enough, but it's not. Too many products out there can cause more complexion problems...mostly due to added ingredients and fragrances. A simple, vitamin rich wash and moisturizer will leave your skin looking better with lot less problems....because it won't destroy the protective upper layer of the skin called the Acid Mantel.

Also, in addition to washing and hydrating - what most people forget is that after a certain age, we need to help increase cell turnover for a healthier, smoother complexion. The skin is not able to shed dead cells as well as it did when we were younger.....so we have to sort of encourage this process.

Plus, exfoliating those dead cells helps our complexion look fresher and it will be able to absorb any type of moisturizer or anti-aging cream you apply.

Right now is a great time to try it because until the 30th of this month you can get a $10.00 discount. Just enter this code - OF18FC67.

Finally, if you don't like it - you can send it back for a full refund.

how can I get beautiful skin!!

Hi there,

I know this sound silly, but I have horrible skin! I have large pores, it greasy shiny in some spots and dry in others. I have some blackheads like around my nose and chin and it just looks dull.

I've tried every cream and wash and even tried those really expensive ones from my department store and nothing changes. What am I doing wrong. I eat lots of veggies (I'm a vegan and drink tons of water. I exercise and wear a sunscreen all the time. Even in the winter.

I'm so frustrated with my skin. I have to wear a lot of makeup just to make it look decent. I'm not bad looking but this dull skin really makes me feel down.

I'm tired of spending money on products that don't work. Sometimes they even make me breakout. Now, I'm starting to get some wrinkles and lines, like around my mouth. What can do? I need some help.

Thank you.

Hi There,

Thanks for your email on how to have beautiful skin. You might be causing your own problems.

There are a lot of skin products to choose from these days - so it's really confusing what to use. The problem is - no matter how expensive they are - not everyone's skin can handle all the ingredients, detergents, fragrances, animal products, etc.... found in many products.

For example, a lot of facial cleansers contain a detergent called Laureth Sulfate. Over time, this can destroy your upper protective layer called the Acid Mantel.

Once this layer is damaged, your skin becomes susceptible to all sorts of problems from breakouts and acne to eczema.

Constantly wearing or sleeping in makeup is a problem too. Some complexions cannot handle the dyes and metal salts found in makeup and shadows. If you were a lot of eyeshadow and your eyelids look crinkly and wrinkled, it could be due to the makeup. You must wash it all off before going to bed with a cleanser that's gentle.

Also, some moisturizers contain wax or cheap heavy oils to help seal the moisture in. While this may feel like it's helping to hydrate your skin, over the long term, you could be clogging up the pores leading to blackheads, whiteheads, and breakouts.

Finally, after a certain age, we need to manually exfoliate our skin. The skin normally does this naturally, but as we get older, this process slows down. By encouraging an increased rate of cell turnover - you can:

- help get rid of dead skin cells
- allow newer fresher cells to reach the surface
- encourage collagen production
- and get rid of the dull look and fine lines.

Usually after the first time, most people see an incredible difference.

Here is an inexpensive 3 step routine you can try. It's mostly organic, vitamin enriched, free of irritants, and really simple to use.

It can help clean, polish, and hydrate your skin so you can get it back to normal. Don't use anything else for a few weeks and see if you don't see a big difference in your skin.

One more other suggestion you might want to consider - you didn't say how old you are - but if you are starting to get sagging skin and nasal labial lines and folds, now may be a good time to start exercising your face.

Facial exercises can help increase your skin's firmness and lift the underlying muscles before it gets too late. Creams and washes are good, but sagging muscles are not affected by them. You need to strengthen and firm up your face muscles if you want to stay younger looking.

Budget wise, this may sound like a lot, but you only purchase the face exercise DVD once and you have it for the rest of your life. Unlike creams and serums that need to be constantly replaced. So, it's a very inexpensive investment for a younger looking face.

Hope this helped.
