How to Help Dry Hair

My hair is dry and VERY frizzy and I am looking for vitamins or products that I can use to cure it or help.

Hello Brandi,

One thing you should do is a bi-weekly hot olive oil hair mask. Take a cup of olive oil and microwave it until it's warm....about 30-60 seconds. Test it first to make sure it's not scolding hot!

Then massage this oil into your hair and don't forget the ends.

Then wrap your hair into bun and place a plastic bag over your hair....I also put a towel over the plastic bag because sometimes the oil drips down my neck.

Now just sit back and relax and the oil soak into the hair for about 30 minutes.

Then rinse well and wash with a shampoo made for dry frizzy hair. Add a condition meant for your hair type and rinse. Some people find that a silicon based product - like Freeze Ease applied while the hair is still wet gives it a sleeker, smoother look.

The other thing you can do is cure the hair from the inside by taking a supplement called BioSil.

BioSil is the active form of silicon called orthosilicic acid. The body uses this orthosilicic acid to make collagen and for normal healthy hair and nail growth. Without this key amino acid in your body....you're hair and nails won't grown.

One of the great side-effects of BioSil is that your hair and nails grow faster, thicker and stronger. I call this a side-effect because if your hair is kept in a short style or you get expensive hair cuts.... you might wind up having to pay more money because you're getting your hair cut more often.

Hi my question is how can i get silky soft hair? My hair was silky soft and straight with natural brown color earlier but now it is rough n little curly. So can you suggest me a treatment in detail? Thanking you in advance for answering me

Hello Mohammed,

Yes, there is a very simple method for silky hair, but you will have to do this weekly.

1. Beat two eggs together in a large bowl.

2. Then add 2-4 tablespoon of olive oil and mix well. You can also use almond oil, or any type of oil you have at home. Olive oil smells like a salad to me so I rather use almond oil as it smells nicer for the hair.

3. Apply this mixture to your hair and leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes. Then wash your hair with a very gentle shampoo. Shampoos meant for children and babies are usually pretty gentle.

Your hair will be so soft and silky after this...but you need to do this at least once a week to keep it soft.
