I have psoriasis and my hands and arms really bad and it is really dry. Is there any oil type formulas that can help hydrate my skin and reduce my psoriasis or cure it? I've tried some herbal treatments for psoriasis, but they didn't moisturize my skin enough and didn't get rid or even help my condition.
Hi Kelly,
Thanks for your email regarding oil formulas for psoriasis. First, I'm sorry to say - there is no cure for psoriasis at this time. There are medications you can take that might help reduce the symptoms.
Some people tolerate these medications pretty well -- others do not. The alternative is to try a more natural remedy and see if it can at least reduce the painful and annoying symptoms of psoriasis.
Some people can decent results with over-the-counter remedies and some don't. Nobody can predict the out come. But, if you do try an over-the-counter remedy, just make sure it has a money back guarantee so you can send it back if it doesn't work.
With that said, I know of a formula that contains FDA approved ingredients that has gotten some good reviews. It's pretty well known and has been featured on several news shows.
This formula might be right for you because it contains soothing oils....... like palm oi, vitamin E, and melaleucu alternifolia oil to help seal moisture onto the skin.
One of the most important ingredient in this formula is 2% salicylic acid which helps encourage shedding of dead cells. It's the build up of dead cells that cause that thick white patches. Plus, the excess cells prevent any treatment cream or hydrating cream you apply - from being absorbed.
Like I said, tt's got pretty good reviews so far. If you're interested click here oil formula for psoriasis.
