What Causes Boils on Buttocks?

Hi,

This is embarrassing, but I was wondering what causes boils on buttocks? I get them a few times a month! And they hurt. Please help

Hi,

Thanks for your question. Generally, the buttocks and other closed-in areas that are warm, moist, and/or gets rubbed by clothing - are where boils usually start.....buttocks, under arms, inner thighs.......etc...

If you suffer from boils often there are certain homeopathic ingredients you can take to help build your resistance against them.

Hope this helped,

Boils that are on you buttocks and r already hard and won't pop!

by rocsi
(Virginia, US)

I have a boil that is really hard and won't pop. I am only 12 years old and my mom is a nurse but she has tried everything she knows without taking me to the doctor.

My aunt has had many big boils when she was younger, so i guess it's in my family. my mom has tried Epsom salt, letting it come out on its own, putting Vaseline, and a Nigerian substance on it, called rubb.

I get boils a lot, but this one is so bad that i cannot even walk very well. hardly at all. the boil is on the inner part of my but and really hurts. mostly, when i get a boil, it is on my butt, so.

I am looking for help ASAP!
please!
thanx

Hi,

Ouch, your condition sounds painful. I hate to say it, but if your boil is causing that much pain, maybe you should consider seeing a doctor. You have to be very careful when trying to pop a boil because that whitish substance at the head of a boil is called the pus, and is highly infectious. You should be careful when treating a boil at home.

Some other home remedies is crushing up garlic and applying the paste for about an hour so on the boil. This should bring it to a head. Be careful and don't leave the garlic on too long or it will burn your skin.

If you constantly get boils, you should consider using BoilX. BoilX is a homeopathic product that works from the inside to help reduce boils. Have your mother look this over.

Also, read this page for more home remedies for boil treatment. Home Treatment Of Boils.

Hope this helps,

abscess boil - please help

by C.J.

I keep getting these abscess boils. They are painful and uncomfortable, especially the boils on the buttocks.

There is nothing out there for treating abscess skin boils. What am I supposed to do?

Hi C.J.

There is a natural homeopathic spray that can help reduce the boils faster and help prevent them from coming back.

For some reason some people are more prone to abscess boils than others.

Treating a Boil on the butt

Hi,

I'm embarrassed to ask this question, but how can I treat a boil on the butt? I'm going on vacation soon and want to get rid of it fast!

Hi,

Thanks for your question regarding treating a boil on the butt. Don't be embarrassed because you're not alone. Lots of people get boils in very private areas - especially where clothes cause chaffing and rubbing.

I have found a few ways you can treat the boil -like applying heat. Try sitting in a tub of hot water to soak the boil. This helps bring the infection to surface of the skin faster. It also increases circulation and brings antibodies and white blood cells which help fight infection.

Also, consider trying a homeopathic spray that I found that helps to prevent boils from coming back.

What's great about this all natural homeopathic product is you spray it under tongue so it works from the inside to help reduce your chance of developing a boil and helps to heal the ones you have.

Let's face it, the last thing you want to do is apply a greasy cream/lotion to your butt while you're in shorts or a bathing suit. That's why I like this spray....it's clean and easy to use.

I hope I was able to help you....Enjoy your vacation!

Treatment for Atophic Dermatitis (Eczema) and Boils

Hi,

Please help and give some suggestions for treatment for contact dermatitis and boils on the butt.

Hello,

Doctors don't know why some people get eczema and what the cure is. But they do know that certain foods can aggravate the symptoms of eczema as eczema appears to be more common in people who are allergic to things.

Here are some suggestions for you. Read this page on What Foods Cause Eczema.

It will tell you the most common foods people are allergic too. Try to eliminate one food each week and see if your symptoms don't improve.

Also, try to increase your intake of fish oil supplements and yogurt (acidophhillus). These two nutrients have been shown in studies to reduce eczema flare-ups in as little as 30 days.

Finally, make sure you use eczema specific soaps and moisturizers because this type of skin is already sensitive to chemicals and additives. You don't want to further aggravate your skin with topical creams and lotions. You can read more about this at the link listed above.

Also, for natural home treatment boils, click here: Home Treatment of Boils.

On this page, you'll find a recommendation for a homeopathic product that you spray under the tongue.

What this does is help heal your current boil, but works deep within the body to help your system avoid getting boils, if you're prone to them.

I hope this information has helped.
Linda

boils

by janie
(greenville sc)

are there any kinds of foods that help cause these boils like things that have mercer in them

Hello Janie,

While some people make the claim that certain foods like greasy or fried foods can cause boils, there are no scientific studies to prove this. The reason why some people tend to get boils more often is due to bacteria overgrowth.

You see, we all carry certain levels of staph bacteria in our body and for most of us, our body is able to control the bacteria levels so it does not get out of control.

For some reason, in certain people, the staph bacteria gets out of control resulting in boils and acne.

The conventional way of treating this - when it's really bad - is through prescription antibiotics, or prescription anti-bacterial creams or soaps like Chlorhexidine.

Some people have had good success with a natural homeopathic spray that helps to ease the symptoms of boils from inside the body.

This spray called BoilX is sprayed under the tongue up to 3 times a day. This homeopathic spray contains a variety of homeopathic herbal remedies like:

Calcerea picrica, echinacea angustifolia, baptisia tinctora, and others to help strengthen the body's natural resistance to the bacteria, reduce the abscesses before they burst open, and reduce any pain associated with existing boils.

There are a few remedies you can try at home too - that might help some people ---- it all depends on how bad your case is.

how to treat boils???

I always seem to get boils on my bottom (buttocks) and I'm embarrassed to tell anyone or my doctor.

Can you recommend a treatment that I can do at home? They seem to come out after I've had a long work out in the gym and did a lot of sweating.
