How To Lift Facial JowlsAre you dealing sagging facial jowls? Been noticing more droop in your face lately? While you might not see it in the mirror…..Sagging jowls really show up in pictures!
Well, instead of avoiding pictures, do something to lift those jowls and your whole face -- safely and easily without surgery. How? With facial exercises.
After months of running a Skin Problem Survey, it seems that sagging jowls is the number one largest concern among my website visitors. That’s why I dedicated this months newsletter to sagging facial jowls and how you can get rid of them.
As we age, we begin to lose the underlying layer of fat from our face. This is probably the biggest reason why we look older and more tired as we age. It is also a big reason for facial sagging.
When the underlying layer of fat from your cheek/eye/nose area thins out….everything begins to droop – like melting wax – leaving us with nasal labial folds around the nose and sagging jowls.
Look in the mirror and take your index finger and place it on your upper cheek near the outer corner of your eye. Then light pull the skin upward – just a tiny bit.
See what happens? The folds around the nose area disappear, those little pockets around the corners of the mouth disappear, and the jowls seem tighter. If you can tighten and increase muscle size of the face (replacing lost fat) the skin goes along with it and is lifted.
And, as a side benefit, exercising the face increases blood flow to the skin which in turn feeds it and brings oxygen. The results is healthier skin and better skin color.
Just keep in mind one thing….don’t be tempted to spot train. First of all, all areas of your face will eventually concern you as you age. Work on them all together.
And all the muscles are connected so working your cheek muscles will eventually also help sagging jowls and a droopy double chin too. Finally, working all the muscles will build a more elegant, balanced, beautiful face that looks young, bright, and firm.
