but can u tell me how often should i do this exercise.And how much time does it take to get the exact look.


Thanks for your email. According to Carolyn from Facial Fitness most people start to see small changes in a few weeks and more dramatic results 3-6 months later. It depends on a lot of often you perform exercises, how aged (or damaged) your skin is, and how old you are. Obviously, a 35 year old will get see faster results than a 75 year old.

One word of advice.....Carolyn suggests that it's best to exercise the whole face/neck (don't spot train). The whole face will only take 15 min. a day.

The reasons for exercising the whole face are - 1. All the muscles are connected in some way so exercising the whole face gives you better, faster results that look natural.

2. You don't want to over-build one area of the face while the rest continues to sag. As, eventually, it will sag sooner or later.

Finally, I think the title of this blog (Face Exercise for Higher Cheek Bones) really should read Face Exercises for higher, firmer, cheek muscles.

Because you really can't change the size and structure of the cheek bones you were born with. However, you can lift and firm upper part of the face.

Interesting Note: New studies now indicate that face exercise can also help prevent bone atrophy. Especially around the eye/cheek area and jaw line. This bone atrophy also contributes to an older/aged looking face.
