Need a Eye Creams for 35 year old with dehydrated skin around eyes
Hi,I never used sunscreens in my early years and now – even though I'm only 35 years old, I have some under eye damage, crows feet and really dry dehydrated skin around the eyes. What creams should I try and do they really work? I'm scared because if I look this bad now, what's going to happen when I'm in my fifties? Please help
Thanks for your question regarding eye creams and dehydrated skin around the eyes. Yes, this is a big problem for men and women after age 35 or so....and I know how you feel. I started seeing crow's feet in my late 20s. I never used sunscreens either :-(
Interestingly, I just learned about a new technique that uses IONs to infuse hyaluronic acid into the dry skin to plump it up.
We all know how important hyaluronic acid is for plumping up the skin. Hyaluronic acid is the ingredient used in injectable fillers like Restylane.
However, the type we use at home – topically – is not nearly as effective as the injectable ones you can get at your dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon's office.
But, there is something new on the market that might be the next best thing to home treatments for eye wrinkles – it's called the Wrinkle MD kit.
Basically it's two patches – infused with hyaluronic acid – that are attached to an activator pod that uses gentle micro-currents to drive skin plumping hyaluronic acid deep into the skin for super hydration.
The hyaluronic acid particles are hundreds of times smaller than topical hyaluronic acid, so it penetrates better.
Here is how it works: First you use their pre-wipes to clean the surrounding eye area and let it dry. Then you open the hyaluronic patch and attach it to the Activator
The patch is perfectly shaped to cover the area from under from half way under the eye - all the way to the outer top of your eyebrow. So it covers wrinkles in the whole, outer eye area.
Then you clip the Pod to your shirt or collar and turn it on. This way your hands are free and you can go about doing your normal activity.
The patch stays on for 40 minutes. It's recommend that you use this treatment at least two times a week for the first week or two…….then you can reduce treatment to only once a week.
The only and most common complaint I've heard and read is that sometimes the patches start to fall off with lots of movement. So maybe it's best to use these treatments while your surfing the net, watching TV, or something that requires you to sit still for at least 40 minutes. But on the up-side, like 90% of the people who tried it saw great resutls!
According to Dr. Tina Alster, Director of the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery, the ION Infusion Patches can not only help minimize current wrinkles and fine crinkly lines, it might also help prevent more from forming in the future.
She states that one of the reasons why it's so effective is that is uses Ions to "drive" the hyaluronic acid deep into the tissue for better results than just applying it and let it sit on top of the skin.
OK, now I can't wait to try it. I'm going to try it soon. I'll post back here and let you all know how well it works.
Here is what it looks like and you can click on the link for more information:
