Under Eye Concern

Hi!
I'm 18 years old female and my skin is very fair I've recently noticed that I have sunken eyes 'Tear Troughs' and I thought they were new but as I looked back at my photos I've always had them!
I really wish there is some sort of natural cream or serum to use to give me the volume in the hollow area my eyes are pretty big and I think the eye hollowness is genetics because my younger brother is 10 and he has them!!
Please if anything would help, I don't want to do any cosmetic surgery as I don't like the idea of needles or the process!
Thank you!!

Editor's NoteHi There! Thanks for your email regarding sunken under eyes. It sounds like you're particular issue is hereditary - since you are so young and you've noticed this in other family members too.
I'm not sure why or what causes that to happen when you're younger but I can tell you for sure that creams and serums will not fill in under eye hollows. Only cosmetical interventions like Restylane injections can fill in the deep or hollowed areas of the under eye and create a smoother, fuller look.
In older people this happens due to a number of normal aging factors like - gravity, facial muscle sagging, reduction in collagen production, and thinning skin......just to name a few.
I have found (at least for me) that facial exercises work to help reduce/improve some of these issues. Again, I'm not sure if they will work for you - but it cannot hurt to try.
Here is a link so you can read more about facial exercise and how they work.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions.
Best,
Linda
