Hi,
Thanks for your question. Try these 2 exercises:
•Mouth Toner – While sitting comfortably, tilt your head way back and look at the ceiling. Pucker your lips together -- making a kiss. Now stretch the kiss – like you’re trying to kiss the ceiling. Hold this position for a count of 15. Bring your head back down and relax your mouth. Repeat this 4 more times.
•Jowls and Chin Toner - While sitting comfortably, tilt your head way back and look at the ceiling. Stretch your lower lip over your top lip as far up as you can. Hold this position for a count of 5. Then relax your mouth and repeat this 4 more times.
Also, open this link: Eliminate Double Chin and then open the link to Face Fitness Center.....you'll find some more sample exercises for the lower chin/cheek area to give it a more contoured look.
Hope this helps,

Hi,
I'm Dinesh m from India...m 27...i have under eye wrinkles in my face...how can I remove...pls help.
Hi Dinesh,
At your age, it's not hard to get a handle on wrinkles. I'll be in your case, it's just a matter of dry skin, more so than actual skin aging/damage.
First of all, always use a sunscreen on your face when you're going outside. Second, invest in a good hydrating eye wrinkle cream for dry skin and use it at least twice a day...morning and night.
Eye wrinkle creams are best applied on slight damp skin. So right after you wash your face, or get out of the shower, apply this cream while your skin is still damp and warm.
You can try and start doing some Facial Exercises. If you follow the link you'll find a video of several face exercises examples...one is for eye winkles. Try it for a few months and see if that doesn't help too.
Good luck,

Hi There,
I just wanted to share with you my experience with isometric facelift. It's been about 2 1/2 months since I started and I do them 5 days a week.
And I have to tell you that my cheekbones are more defined and my dimple is back! I had a really cute dimple on my left cheek and as I got older, it became just a long line down to my chin.
Actually, my husband noticed that my dimple was back because it was one of things he noticed when we first met. Thanks so much! Joan.
Hi Joanne,
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing that with us. Yes, I love my face exercises too.
Keep it up Joanne -- you'll see some wonderful changes as time goes by.
Your facelift results get better the longer you do facial exercises. The reason why these work so well is because you do all but 2 exercises laying down which puts an extra gravity pull on the muscles giving you a faster, tighter lift.
Do you know of any treatment for undereye hollows? A plastic surgeon told me he can inject restlyane, but it's expensive and I'm a little scared to inject something near my eyes.
Thanks,
Dottie
Hi Dottie,
Yes, facial exercises are a great option for filling in those under eye hollows. Also, they help stop that sunken in look that tends to as happen we age.
Here is one exercise to try....there are a few eye exercises and you really should do them all for a wider, younger eye look. This one is also great for crows feet, but lifts and tightens the muscle under the eye too.

I'm 29 years old...& the past year i've notice that there were a line / wrinkle between my lip & nose..it's weird ..it almost looks like a smile.
You can only see it when i smile..is that called "smokers face"? I'm gonna quit smoking cause I'm thinking that is what it is...now if or when i put on some weight ..will some of my wrinkles go away ??
Hello Tammy,
Thanks for your email regarding smoking and lip/mouth wrinkles. Well, there is no doubt that by quitting smoking you have a better chance of having smoother skin with less wrinkles (especially around your mouth/lip and cheek area) as you age.
You are still young and have a very good chance of preventing wrinkles from setting in too deep.
Try exfoliating your skin (especially the upper lip area) at least once a week and use a good anti-aging moisturizer.
Consider using a good natural fruit acid/glycolic acid peel once a week or so to keep the skin smooth.
The directions for this renewing system says to use about 3 times a week - but at your age - once a week should be enough.
And make sure to use a good sunscreen - especially every day.
Another option is to start facial exercising to help smooth out current wrinkles and prevent new ones from forming. I wish I had started when I was your age! It's so much easier to start young before wrinkles and sagging muscles set in............And trust me they will!
Aging happens to everyone - no matter how good they take care of themselves.

before pic/ between Dec-Jan
I started experimenting with some facial exercises and faceflex I believe it was called on and off for about a month and then one night after using the faceflex the longest I had with a new rubber band, it was like overnight, I got on only the right side of my face a deep nasal fold, literally looks like a deep scar now! (I have included photos) I read that stopping the exercises would make it revert back to the way it was but it has been over 2 months and nothing has changed. It's really obvious because it's only on one side of my face and I feel I have given it enough time to "go back" if it was going to but it's exactly the same and I'm afraid to do any more exercises, obviously.
Has this happened to anyone? Is there a fix?
I'm also worried because like I said, It literally looks like a bad scar now and I'm afraid if I don't do something fast that the "scar line" will permanently stay even if I find a solution, the best way I can explain what I mean is when your mom would say, "Don't Make That Face" it will stay that way, you know because it's indented in my skin 24/7, hope that makes sense.
I have included before / after and a close up of the "fold/scar"
The before pics were taken around January, I cropped most of the picture out so it would bring my face in closer view and you can see I have no fold/scar on one side like the after I took when it happened February, I changed background to black and white so it's easier to see with the "shadow" effect and the close up is from today, March 6 and both, as if ya'll can't already tell, ha, are bare, no makeup.
Thanks for your time and any advice.
Hi Teresa,
Thanks for your email. You said you used rubber bands? Sounds like you were using one of those mouth flex exercisers?
I've been doing facial exercises (off and on) since 1999. I tried many different ones. I also had that little piece (I think that's the one you're talking about) that you put into your mouth - to exercise the lower face. That also took rubber bands.
I have at times over built areas and it looked strange. That sounds like what you might have done. You see you might have over-worked the lower part of the face, without working the upper part.
That means the upper and middle cheek muscles didn't fill out and lift up.....which could be exaggerating the lower nasal labial folds. This is a very tricky area and you need to be careful how you work it.
If you were to slight pull the cheeks back a bit, I'll bet it will probably make the lower half of your face look better.........
Try backing off on all exercises until it atrophy's and everything settles down. Then, I would exercise the whole face, not just one area.
You can read more about the importance of exercising the whole face her at Carolyn from Facial Fitness site.
Carolyn always says to do the whole face - not just one area because sometimes you can over build an area and it's out of place with the rest. I know because at first I didn't feel like doing them all either. I only had an area or two that bothered me. And while she would help me with my specific area, she kept telling not to avoid the rest.
She explains that the facial muscles are in some way all connected and for the most natural balanced look, you should try to exercise all of them.
I finally settled on Carolyn's program a few years ago because her exercises were quicker than most and easiest. Plus, her exercises have been tested over and over again on a variety of people and ages to ensure that everyone gets a nice elegant looking face.
So don't worry, just let everything settle down for a few weeks. Also, try applying a good moisturizer to plump up the area. That usually helped me.
Then, if you still want try facial exercises, choose a program that works all the muscles - even the under chin and neck. Because once these areas start to sag, it really hard to get them firmed up :-)
I hope this helps and let me know if I can answer anymore questions.
Thanks,
Linda
P.S. I know this area bothers you, but you do have a very pretty face and that line doesn't look that bad. But then again, we are our worst critic aren't we?

i have got a deep and long line on one side of my face and its increasing with the time, i m 47 and this line is there since i was 37...how can i get rid of it?
Hello Rekha,
Thanks for your email regarding a line on your face. One thing you can try is facial exercising/massaging. That helps stimulate collagen production and smooths out the skin.
If you click here Reduce Sagging Skin and watch this video you'll see a few sample type exercises.
There is more video to watch here sagging cheeks and crow's feet lines.
This video is more recent and the woman in this video is Carolyn, founder of Facial Fitness. She is over 64 years old and looks like she's in her 30's. She is proof (along with a few hundred of her followers) that facial exercises - performed correctly on a regular basis can "rub out wrinkles" and lift sagging muscles from the forehead to the neck/chest area.
What makes her technique so different is a few things. Almost all of her exercises are done lying down - to take advantage of gravity. Trust me -- you'll feel these the first few weeks you do them.
I've been doing facial exercises for over 10 years now --- off and on. But, Carolyn's are different.
She also has a special technique where you literally "rub" a wrinkle until it flattens out and eventually becomes invisible.
My suggestion to you is not to pick and choose certain exercises for areas that bother you. Do them all because in time as you age - all the areas of your face will be of concern.
As much as we don't want to think about, we are all aging and it will show on the face unless you do something now to slow it down.
You're only 47 yrs. old...this is a good time to stop the aging process and reverse some that has already taken place.
For anyone else that reads this blog that is older than 47, it's' not too late, but it will take longer to see results. The sooner, the better.
Plus, a very recent study showed that your facial bones also age and droop as you get older, thus adding to that "aged" look.
Click on this link facercise for younger bones to see a comparison of two CT scans of a young woman's skull compared to a skull of an older woman. Notice the big change around the eyes and jaw area.
I hope this helped.

Hello,
Please help me. My face is so thin and long especially my chin. I would like my face to be more round.
Please help me and suggest me some face exercise so that i can make my face more rounder or fuller.
Hello,
Thanks for your email. Well I must say, you have the opposite problem of most people. Most people complain of having fat chubby cheeks.
Please keep in mind that there is no way to change your facial bone structure. A face that is naturally longish will always be that way. Even if you gained weight. But, you can have fuller higher cheeks.....giving your face a fuller look, not too mention a more elegant look too.
Here is one sample exercise: Cheek Raisers.
Place four fingers of each hand on top of each cheek of your face. Then, smile hard and as you feel you cheek muscles raise....use your fingers to push the cheek muscles back down. Causing a resistance.
Then relax and do it again. Repeat this 20 more times. And do these everyday. In about a month or so you'll have stronger, higher, fuller cheeks. This will also help alleviate any droopy jowls as this raises everything up ward.

I hope this helped.

Hi,
I saw an episode of the Doctors' Show this week and they talked about surgery to tighten the upper eyelid muscle. I have very droopy eyelids and always look tired. Is there a cream or some more natural way I can lift my eyelids and look more awake?
Thanks for your help,
Kate
Hi Kate,
Yes, there is a really easy face exercise you can do to tighten the upper eyelid muscle which starts to droop as we age, making us look older and tired.
1. Place your index fingers directly under your eyebrows and lift your eyebrows up with your fingers.
2. Then try push your eyebrows down...closing your upper lid...gently stretching the muscle down. Hold this for a count of 10 and release. Repeat 9 more times.
3. Do this face exercise once a day for 3 weeks and you'll see a wider, more opened eye look.

Happy exercising!

The edges of my lips are downwards..it looks i am always sad..what should i do?
-------------------------------------
Hi Lajj,
Here is a good easy exercise to tighten those muscles and pull up your lips.
Jowl lift – Helps tighten sagging pouches along the jaw bone .... the ones that develop at the lower corners of the mouth. Over time this droop sometimes changes the appearance of the face….giving it a square-ish look. See picture of aging Face Shape here.
•Place your thumb and forefinger on either side of your chin – feeling your jaw bone.
•With lips closed try to make a make a smile -- drawing the corners of your mouth out toward your ears.
•While at the same time, using your thumb and forefinger try to hold the muscle in place…creating resistance...as if you're trying to stop the smile.
•Hold for count of 10, then let go and relax.
•Repeat for 3 sets.

Hello,
Do you have any suggestions for hollow or sunken eyes?? My mom has them and so does my grandmother. Now, I'm starting to notice them.
thank you
----------
Hi,
Thank you for your question. As we age, our eyes tend to sink into the eye socket -- giving the eye area a hollow older look.
Creams can't correct this but you can start doing eye exercises which will help slow down than natural age related progression. Plus, it's great for lines around the crows feet area.
Follow this link for free Face Exercises that include a free video on eye exercises for crows feet too.
Thanks

Hi, I have bags and wrinkles under my eyes and was wondering what the best exercise is to get rid of those wrinkles?
Hi Lanette,
If you follow this link you'll see a video of Carolyn showing a few free sample exercises, especially for the eye and crow's feet area.
Puffy eyes can be caused by a few things - most common is either allergies - in which fluid builds up around the eye area - or fatty deposits due to aging or hereditary.
You'll know it's allergies if the puffiness is more noticeable when you first wake up and starts to go down as the day goes on. Standing up right and walking around helps to drain the fluid that accumulates while we are lying down during sleeping.
If the eye area is always puffy, it could be fatty deposits and the only way to really remove the puffiness is through surgery called Blepharoplasty. This procedure removes some of the excess fat in the bottom and/or upper eye area.
Exercises can help bags under the eyes to a degree -- by making the skin and muscle tighter -- sort of holding them in like a girdle.
But I can tell you first hand, the crow's feet exercises that Carolyn shows on her video has helped reduce those little dry lines around my eye area.
Now I do the whole face exercise program about 4 times a week. While eye wrinkles may be something that bothers you now, eventually, the whole face will be of concern as you age.
For me it started out to be just the eye area. I started to form wrinkles there in my late 20's. But, then later the aging started to show around the jowls/chin area.
So, like Carolyn says, take care of your whole face, because eventually other areas will start to show signs of aging and start to sag.
Plus, doing the whole face, you won't risk the problem of over developing one area. You'll build a nice elegant looking face.
I hope this helped.

my face is so big and i am to much worried.please tell me the exercise ,how can i reduce my chin and cheek.
Hello,
I have found a fantastic video for slimming the face and getting rid of a double chin. It's been used by people all over the world and endorsed by professional models. I have just tried it myself and love the results that I'm seeing.
There are some simple exercises that can help strengthen your facial muscles eliminate a double chin, reduce fat cheeks, and tighten sagging jowls.
My favorite one that seem to give me the most results is:
For chubby cheeks - do cheek raises.
1. Make a large O shape with your mouth and curl your lips over your teeth.
2. Try to smile wide and big while keeping your lips curled over your teeth.
3. When you try to smile, you'll feel your cheek muscles raise upward. Then take the palms of your hands and place them on your cheek muscles and try to slight push the cheek muscles down. You're using your palms as weights.
4. Then relax the smile and stop pushing with palms for a second.....and repeat the smile/push again.
5. Do this exercise 10-15 times a day at least twice a day for best results. This exercise will raise your cheek muscles, pulling up sagging skin and will strengthen the around the whole lower face.

Hope this helps.
