How can I get rid of crows feet wrinkles? Creams don't seem to work for me.
Are there any home made wrinkle fillers on the market?
Hello,
Thanks for your email. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a home made wrinkle filler.
However, there are some new studies and developments in the area of skin care and wrinkles using a newly discovered 'peptides.'
At a recent conference in Paris, leading dermatologists found that this new peptide reduced the volume of wrinkles and depth of wrinkles.....all in about 6 months time.

Recently a visitor asked me about a product line called Boots from England. After much reviewing - I can tell you that I'm not impressed.
Initially, the research started out pretty good. The products were affordable, they had a large line of different types of products and some of the customer reviews looked pretty promsing. However, once I started to review the ingredients -- I was shocked.
For example, the Boots No7 Time Dimensions Nourshing Eye Cream contains mineral oil and glycerin. The company says this is to help to prevent dry skin and creat a moisturer barrier. However, mineral oil and glycerin are two of the cheapest ingredients a skin care line can use and it will clog pores and create puffy swollen eyes. Not to mention it might cause an allergic reaction in some people.
Finally, there is nothing in this line that actually encourages skin rejuventaion and collagen support or building. As we age, we lose collagen which is what causes skin to sag and wrinkle. We live in a technologically advanced time were lucky to have creams on the market that actually do help collagen. So - why waste your money on creams that just might make your skin look better for the moment, why not use creams that actually improve your skin cells and make younger with time?

I am a 75 year old woman. I would like to know what you think of the product DermaE Peptides Plus wrinkle cremes & serums. I heard that hyaluronic acid creme should be used with these products. The price of Derma E is more affordable for me. What do you think about these products?
Hi Mary,
Thank you for your email. The DermaE Peptide Plus Wrinkle cream looks like a decent enough cream and if it's within your budget, give it a try and see how you like it. It contains palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 (matrixyl), acetyl hexapeptide-3 (argireline) which are used to reduce excess muscle movement in hopes of reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Sort of similar principle to Botox, but of course not as strong. It also has antioxidants like pycnognol and green tea.
However, it does not contain any skin rejuvenating ingredients - like those discovered by that Dr. Pickart.
Back in the 80's Dr. Pickart discovered and patented a special, more biologically active form of copper peptides called GHK-Cu which has been used by plastic surgeons to help patients heal after cosmetic surgery - like laser and chemical peels.
They used this type of cream because there is so much science proving that it not only helps heal skin quickly, but also builds collagen. Then sometime in early 2002 or so it became available to the public and I was excited. It is sold by only one company that I know called Neova.
You can read more about it and see the studies at this link:
Copper Peptides.
I hope this helped.

Do you have any information on Iced Anti Wrinkle Cream. It's supposed to be like a Botox alternative cream. Thanks,
Hello,
Thanks for your email regarding Iced Anti Wrinkle Cream. I actually have a much better and much more effective solution for a Botox Alternative Cream...
It's really a serum called Instant Lift that helps to tighten and lift the skin - all while moisturizing it too. I works in about 15 minutes and if you apply it to one side of the face first....you'll really notice the difference.
Plus, unlike other Botox alternative type creams, this one actually works on hydrating and repairing your skin so over time....the wrinkle are less noticeable.

I have and use all the time and love it. Hope this helps.....

Hi,
Please help me. I'm on a limited budget and my skin is aging so so fast. I've been under a lot of stress and look years older than my age. Are there any inexpensive home remedies for wrinkled skin?
Hello Denise,
The most effective "home remedy for wrinkled skin" is facial exercises.
So it’s inexpensive, fast, and will last a life time.
And the best of all, you’ll see "three month jumps”. This means every three months, you’ll see improvements in your face…..meaning you’ll look younger.
While I'm a big fan of using a good anti-aging creams with it to speed up progress, if you’re can't afford it right now.... facial exercises gives you the best bang for your buck.
I’ve been testing various facial exercise tapes and CD’s since 1999 and found this one to be the easiest, fastest, and most effective. And, it doesn’t require you to pull or tug on your skin as some of the others I’ve tried. Which scares me because if you don’t do those other ones “exactly” the right way…you can make your skin/face look worse!!
Please let me know if you have any more questions or if you do purchase exercise CD, please keep me posted. Also, take pictures of your face, every 3 months. Take these pictures in the same light, same angle, same room – each time so you can compare the progress over time.

Is there any type of collagen cream or serum to get rid of eye wrinkles
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for your email. There are many products on the market that claim to be wrinkle and age reducing, but the sad part is .... many don’t work.
But during my recent research, I came across an ingredient called Matrixyl, not to be confused with Matrixyl 3000, which is a much less expensive and much less effective.
This special peptide penetrates the skin and actually stimulates the production of collagen in the lower layers of your skin and helps to heal the skin. You see, wrinkles are similar to a skin wound….it’s just damaged skin. If you can heal it then you repair a wrinkle.
In addition, there is another new ingredient on the market which is a Pluripotent active ingredient that acts like a cells corrector.
In vitro studies show that this ingredient helps older skin cells to recover and avoid premature aging. This is really exciting stuff!
This means that it can not only repair wrinkled skin, but also reduce age spots, large pores, eliminate dry skin and redness and improve skin tone. ......which are also signs of aging.
Click here for product information on Age Defying Serum.
Click here to see link above to read the Matrixyl studies.
I hope this has helped. I just wanted to let you know that I recently tried it out and really think it works well.....
Slowly, I plan on trying all of their products and will report back here with my findings.
Thanks,

I have got creases under eyes and smile lines like parenthesis(not big folds). I read online and found out the cream with best reviews was Skincell #29-A(contains Syncoll, Acetyl Octapeptide, Acetyl Hexapeptice, Pentapeptide, Matrixyl 3000, Eyeseryl, and Hyaluronic Acid 12% of each of the peptides ).
Could you please kindly tell me that if it is good for the purpose or should i order cp serum?Do i need to do a chemical peel to first to obtain best results. please guide me.
regards,
yoga age 34
Hi Yoga,
Thanks for your email. At age 34, I wouldn't think you need a chemical peel/ But a good anti-wrinkle cream can really help.
Personally, I'm a big fan of copper peptides especially when combined with retinols -- this makes a powerful treatment. So if you try it, use a small amount and start slowly, until your skin adjusts.
At your age, face exercises can do wonders to reduce lines and prevent new ones from forming as you age. Check this video and free sample exercises for more information. This woman in the video is over 63 years old.
Do you have any suggestions for home remedies for eye wrinkles and small lines on my forehead?
Thanks,
--------------------
Hi Rajni,
Thank you for your email. Facial exercises are a great home remedy for wrinkles. If you click on this link you'll see a live video free sample of an exercise for eye wrinkles
For the forehead lines.
1. Place all four fingers above your eyebrows - pointing upwards toward your hairline.
2. Make a frown and then run your fingers up toward your hairline...like you're trying to push the eyebrows back up to normal position.
3. Stop, then, raise your eyebrows and run your fingers back down to above your eyebrows....Like you're trying to push your eyebrows back down.
Do a set of 10 runs (up and down) once or twice a day ....and at least 4 times a week.
